Who were Your PEople?

Learning about your ancestors can be fun, eye-opening, fascinating, and rewarding. Records, historical documents, and DNA test results unlock the stories of their lives. They tell us about success and glory, hardships and setbacks, scandals, colorful characters, rascals, and n’er-do-wells. They illuminate the lives of ordinary people.

As a researcher who specializes in genealogy, I can connect you with your people and their stories. I am an expert in mining documents and DNA results for information that identifies people, links them together, and tells their stories over time. My research is based on the best available resources, the highest degree of accuracy, and the greatest attention to detail.

What do genealogists do?

Genealogists are detectives and problem solvers. We research a variety of sources and draw clues from even the tiniest details to identify people and their connections to each other over time. We place information in historical context. Genealogists deliver their research results in charts, reports, and written narratives.

Areas of expertise

My research skills can be applied to any genealogy problem. I have extensive experience in tracing Europeans who emigrated to America in the 1800s and 1900s through Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. For Irish Catholics who emigrated to America, Australia, and England, I am an expert in tracing them back to Ireland and using Irish records to document Irish family trees.
